FAQ

Plain-language answers.

These are educational answers. Product-specific terms are governed by the actual carrier contract, policy or plan documents.

What does independent mean here?

C.H.A. Insurance is not presented as a captive, one-company-only sales channel. The exact companies and products available to you depend on active appointments, product authority, your state and eligibility. Independent does not mean every insurance company is available.

Will I always need a medical exam for life insurance?

No. Underwriting varies by carrier, product, age, health and coverage amount. Some products use accelerated or simplified underwriting. For example, the approved Ethos material C.H.A. has access to describes an application using health and lifestyle questions instead of a medical exam. Other products may have different requirements.

Is life insurance through work automatically enough?

Not necessarily. Review the amount, beneficiaries, portability, exclusions and what happens if employment ends. The right amount depends on the obligations and people you are trying to protect.

Can C.H.A. compare Medicare plans right now?

C.H.A. can provide general Medicare education. Plan-specific marketing or enrollment is offered only for organizations and plans for which the producer is properly contracted, certified, appointed and ready to sell. Contact C.H.A. to confirm what is currently available in your area.

What should I understand before buying an annuity?

Review the contract guarantees, surrender period, withdrawal rules, charges, interest-crediting method, optional riders, beneficiary provisions and how the product fits your liquidity and income needs. Ask questions until you understand the tradeoffs.

Is a consultation an obligation to buy?

No. The consultation is for understanding your needs, reviewing available options and deciding what, if anything, you want to do next.
